COVID-19: Putin declares official holidays, Japan calls for state of emergency

Muscat: With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases around the world, the Russian president declares official holidays to combat the epidemic, and Japan declares a state of emergency.

Oman TV said, "Russian President Vladimir Putin declares ten days off in Russia during the month of May to combat the coronavirus."

"Japan declares a state of emergency due to the coronavirus, three months ahead of the Tokyo Olympics," Oman TV added.
