Muscat: Muscat Governorate is expected to receive heavy to moderate rainfall for a period of three days starting from Thursday until Saturday, May 1, an official from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said.
Speaking exclusively to Times of Oman, an official from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), said :"There is an opportunity for moderate to heavy rain to fall on the Governorate of Muscat for a period of three days, as of today until next Saturday, as a result of a trough of low pressure that affects the airspace of the Sultanate, starting from today, Thursday, April 29, until Saturday, May 1, 2021."
Oman Meteorology said in today's Weather forecast :" Partly cloudy to cloudy skies over most of the Sultanate with chance of isolated rain. Chance of convective clouds over Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon with chance of isolated rain occasionally thundershowers and associated with downdraft winds and hail may extend to the coastal areas of oman sea. Chance of rain occasionally thundershowers over Governorates of Dhofar and Al Wusta. "
