Expat arrested for possessing large quantities of alcoholic beverages in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for possessing large amounts of alcoholic beverages in his private vehicle.

A statement issued online by the ROP said: "Oil and Gas Facilities Security Police Command stopped an expatriate while he was transporting a large amount of alcoholic beverages in his private vehicle for the purpose of trafficking.The legal procedures were completed against him."
