Oman Customs thwart smuggling attempt in Al Buraimi

Muscat: Al Buraimi port customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle quantities of prohibited cigarettes into Oman.

A statement issued online by the Oman Customs said :"Al Buraimi port customs thwarted the smuggling of quantities of prohibited cigarettes, which were tightly hidden in the truck basin, in a manner designed for smuggling operations."
