Thunderstorms predicted over some parts of Oman

Muscat: The Al Hajar Mountains are likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds and hail on Wednesday.

The Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast: "The weather is partly cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate and the adjoining mountains with a chance of isolated rainfall. There also may be convective cloud development and thunderstorms associated with strong winds and hail over the Al Hajar Mountains towards the afternoon."

The Oman Meteorology also expects late night to early morning low clouds or fog patches over parts of the Arabian Sea and Oman Sea coasts.
