Neom: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Sunday visited “Ithra” Centre, an advanced knowledge institution affiliated to King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture in Neom City.
The visit comes within the context of His Majesty the Sultan’s current state visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in response to an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the KSA.
When His Majesty the Sultan arrived at Ithra Centre, he was received by Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
The reception party included senior Saudi officials, as well as the Centre’s CEO and working team.
His Majesty the Sultan went on tour of Ithra Centre and had a close look at the major projects that stem from Saudi Vision 2030.
At the conclusion of the tour, His Majesty the Sultan signed the Visitors Register, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made by those running the centre, wishing them success in their mission.
The state-of-the-art Ithra Centre is set up on an area of 80,000 square metres in an innovative style envisaged by Aramco. Its external structure combines the best of traditional and modern architecture that portrays the Kingdom’s brilliant future outlook.
