Oman expects thunderstorms, isolated rainfall in some parts

Muscat: Thunderstorms over Al Hajar Mountains along with isolated rainfall on Dhofar Governorate and dust storms over deserts and open areas are expected, Oman Meteorology stated on Wednesday.

"The weather is partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar and adjoining mountains with a chance of isolated rainfall. Clear to partly cloudy skies over the rest of the Sultanate with chances of convective clouds formation and isolated thunderstorms over Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon. There is also a chance of cloud advection along the Arabian Sea coast and dust storms over deserts and open areas," Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast.
