Muscat: As many as 348 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 3 days, in addition to 8 new COVID-19-related deaths.
This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 302,132 in the Sultanate.
The total number of COVID-19-related death cases reached 4057, the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry added that 493 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 291,532 recoveries.
The Ministry also pointed out that 13 cases were hospitalised over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalised COVID-19-infected patients stands at 138 of them 60 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
