Syrian Foreign Minister lauds Oman's regional role

Muscat: The Syrian Foreign Minister affirmed that Oman's positions on the region’s issues reflect wisdom and moderation.

"His Excellency Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Syrian Arab Republic, confirmed during his meeting with Dr. Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan, Oman’s permanent representative to the United Nations, that the Sultanate’s government’s positions on the region’s issues reflect wisdom and moderation, and that it is a country worthy of immense respect. This was on the sidelines of the meetings of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York." Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
