His Majesty visits Al-Samoud camp

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, this morning, visited the Al-Samoud camp.

“His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, paid this morning a visit to the Al-Samoud camp,” Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

His Majesty listened to a briefing about the evolution of the Sultan's Special Forces and its operational capabilities, and the weapons and equipment it was provided with that enable it to perform its operational tasks and duties, and the significant national roles it plays.

His Majesty also attended a demonstration by the members of the Sultan's Special Forces.
