Muscat: An air crew of the Royal Air Force of Oman has received the Prince Philip Helicopter Rescue Award for rescuing five mountaineers from high altitudes in the Wilayat of Nakhl in South Al Batinah Governorate.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "An air crew consisting of a pilot and two navigators from the Royal Air Force of Oman received the Prince Philip Helicopter Rescue Award in return for performing a search and rescue mission for five mountaineers in the Wilayat of Nakhl in South Al Batinah Governorate, using night binoculars from high altitudes."
