The golden age of Islamic publishing

751-800 By the mid-700s, a global book trade had evolved, and with it, Islamic writing flourished and spread. Ibn Ishaq published the first biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH); Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) was codified; Abu Hanifa Al-Dinawari published The Book of Plants; and the famous Arabian Nights stories made their first appearance.
