Traffic accident causes heavy congestion on this street

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has urged users of Sultan Qaboos Street to drive cautiously due to an accident that has occurred on the road.

"Heavy traffic congestion before the Azaiba bridge, Sultan Qaboos Street, opposite the Great Mosque on the line coming from Al Khuwair towards Seeb, due to a traffic accident.  Policemen are in place to deal with the incident,” the Directorate General of Traffic said in a statement.

The Directorate added that users must exercise caution while navigating this stretch.
