Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases.
They included 252 prisoners,84 of them are foreign prisoners, according to an official source at the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The Royal pardon of His Majesty the Supreme Commander coincides with the occasion of the 51st Glorious National Day and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
