Cycle rally organised to celebrate opening of Oman-Saudi road

Muscat: Al Dhahirah Cycling Team has organised a bicycle rally from the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to celebrate the opening of the new Omani-Saudi road.

"In cooperation with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism represented by the Department of Heritage and Tourism in Al Dhahirah Governorate, the Al Dhahirah Cycling Team organised a bicycle rally, to celebrate the opening of the new Omani-Saudi road, with the support of Al Anan National Company," the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said in a statement.

The bicycle rally was started from the centre of the Wilayat of Ibri to the border checkpoints in Rub-el-Khali for a distance of 150 km.
