Vehicle seized for illegally transporting lobsters

Muscat: A vehicle that was collecting and transporting lobsters illegally has been seized.

"The fisheries control team in Al Wusta Governorate seized a vehicle collecting and transporting lobsters, which have been caught outside the permitted season, as 73 kilograms of lobster were confiscated. The necessary legal measures were taken against violators," the Directorate General of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate said.
