DBBS urges people to donate O+ve blood

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has appealed to the people with O+ blood type to donate blood on Wednesday at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

A statement issued online by DBBS said: "Due to the decrease in the number of blood donors during the past days, which led to a decrease in the level of the stock of  O+ type, we appeal to the blood donors to donate blood at Central Blood Bank in Baushar."

DBBS added that blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, between 8 am and 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm.
