45 arrested for attempting illegal entry into Oman

Muscat: More than 45 foreigners have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for trying to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

"Coast Guard Police in North Al Batinah Governorate seized a boat carrying 49 infiltrators of Asian nationalities while they were entering the country illegally. The legal procedures are being completed against them,” ROP said in a statement.
