Three arrested for human trafficking in Oman

Muscat: Three people have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on charges of human trafficking.

"The Directorate  General of Criminal Inquiries and Investigations was able to arrest three people of foreign nationality on charges of human trafficking against women of the same nationality after they were deluded by false job opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman," ROP said in a statement.

Legal procedures are being taken against the accused.
