Registration for the 2nd Semester of the Academic Year 2021-2022 commences at Majan University College

Majan University College,  the first private higher education institution to be established in Oman and the first higher education institution (HEI) to receive full institutional accreditation from the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA), opens registration for the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022.

The College, in affiliation with the University of Bedfordshire, UK offers a wide range of programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels designed to fit the needs of the prevailing job market. IT programmes in Computer and Network Applications, Computing for Oil and Gas, Banking Information Systems, Software Engineering as well as programmes in the Business Administration field, notably Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Islamic Banking, Tourism, Transport Operations Management, Small Businesses and E-Business are on offer. All programmes operate in full and part-time mode. Computing Oil and Gas is delivered in an On/Off study mode to suit the needs of students already employed in the sector. A unique Bachelor of English Language Programme that accords graduates a multidisciplinary advantage is also offered.

Besides the above undergraduate programmes,  the Postgraduate Centre in Majan has on offer a Masters of Business Administration, and Masters degrees in Computer Science, International Human Resource Management, and Applied Linguistics, all in a part-time mode with very flexible study hours to suit working professionals. The Centre also runs an IELTS preparation course to enable students to attain a score of  6.0 necessary for Postgraduate admissions.

Professional courses such ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and CMA (Certified Management Accounting) as well as professional development courses, language training courses, accounting, finance and IT courses.are all available for enrollment at the College.  

Majan University College’s Campus is located in Darsait, in the heart of Muscat. The College provides Hostel accommodation which is within easy reach of the campus, and transport and shuttle services  are provided.
