Twitter rumours over germs at Oman hospital 'not true': Ministry of Health

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has taken to Twitter to defend the cleanliness of the Sultan Qaboos Hospital.
The statement, released through its official Twitter account, comes after several comments about germs at the hospital posted on the popular social media networking site.
The statement reads:
“The Ministry of Health (MOH) has closely followed what has been circulated in the social media which alleged that germs and viruses are prevalent in the Sultan Qaboos Hospital (SQH) in Salalah.
In this regard, the Ministry would like to affirm that these allegations are not true. In addition, the infection rates do not exceed the rates in the other hospitals at the local and international levels.”
