“We are extremely delighted to inform you that we have resumed our international operations starting from 27 March 2022,” said Go First in a statement.

Muscat: The first low-cost airline has resumed operations between Oman and India following the latter allowing international travel since 27 March.

India had signed air-bubble agreements with certain countries during the COVID-19 pandemic, but with those agreements coming to an end on Sunday, low-cost carrier Go First resumed flights from Kannur to Muscat.

The first flight from the airline arrived at Muscat International Airport on Sunday from Kannur at 10:05 in the morning.
Go First will resume services to Oman from Mumbai from April  3 with four flights a week on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.  It will fly three times a week from Kannur on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The services to Kannur have been restored after almost one-and-a-half year interruption due to the COVID.
The resumption of these services will come as a huge relief to thousands of travellers who frequent the country for business or leisure.

The countries have a rich history of trade and it has grown manifold over the years. We at Go First are delighted to resume direct flights to Oman and this move will benefit both the countries and further strengthen bilateral ties.”

Go First has always been at the forefront in connecting India with the Middle East. It recently resumed direct services to Oman. These services will further augment Go First’s presence in the region.
