Fine imposed on commercial establishment for selling melamine dishes

Muscat: An administrative fine has been imposed on a commercial establishment in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate for selling prohibited melamine dishes.

"The Consumer Protection Authority seized a commercial establishment in the Wilayat of Al Kamel and Al Wafi that sells prohibited melamine dishes. The products were withdrawn and confiscated, and an administrative fine was imposed," the Authority said in a statement.
