New flight service gives travellers between Oman and India more choice

Muscat: Travellers between India and Oman have now more flights to choose from with the addition of a new service from Muscat to  Kochi, a city in the south Indian state of Kerala.

In line with its vision to strengthen international connectivity between India and the Middle East, Go First  (formerly known as Go Air) announced the commencement of direct flights from Kochi to Muscat.

The service started on 2nd June 2022. The inaugural flight departing from Cochin International Airport at 21:00hours (local time) and arriving at Muscat International Airport at 23:05hours (local time).

According to Go First press statement, Flight G8 65 will leave Kochi at 21:00 hours and reach Muscat at 23:05 every Monday and Thursday.

Flight G8 65 will leave Muscat at 23:50 hours and reach Kochi at 05:00 every Monday and Thursday. The new flights to Musact from Kochi will offer connectivity and convenient travel options to blue collar workers/migrant working class flying abroad for employment.

Furthermore, wedged between the mountains and the sea, the capital city of Oman is a glorious wonder of white elegance.

Muscat, the chosen capital for trade and commerce across the Indian Ocean, is a meticulously clean and organised city. For booking, passengers can log in to www.FlyGoFirst.com or can use the mobile app.

Speaking on the development, Kaushik Khona, Chief Executive Officer, Go First, said: “As we eventually come out of the pandemic, we are pleased to strengthen our international presence and commence operations between Kochi to Kuwait and Kochi to Muscat.
