One more body recovered from Al-Mughsail beach

Muscat: The body of a person, part of a family of 8 who were washed away to sea at Al-Mughsail beach has been located.

Of the 8 members, 3 were rescued immediately after the incident, while a search is ongoing for the remaining, three of whom have been found dead so far.

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority,(CDAA) , said: “Search and rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Dhofar were able to find the body of one of the missing people in Al-Mughsail Beach, where the teams used the Royal Air Force of Oman aircraft for the search. Efforts are still ongoing to search for the rest of the missing persons.”
