Muscat:The chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), has confirmed the availability of school items at appropriate prices, and said that there is no concern regarding their availability and prices.
"The Consumer Protection Authority continues its efforts to follow up and monitor the movement of markets coinciding with the approaching return to school period, to ensure the availability of items needed by students, " Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.
His Excellency Sulayem bin Ali Al Hakmani, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority, said that all indicators show the availability of these requirements at appropriate prices, and that there is no concern regarding the availability of goods or their prices.
He called on consumers in general to communicate with the Consumer Protection Authority in the event of any observations regarding student supplies or other goods, stressing that the authority is ready to deal with complaints, observations and suggestions.
