1. Police urge motorists to exercise caution on this road in Muscat

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged users of Sultan Qaboos Street in Hail towards Seeb to drive cautiously due to the heavy traffic congestion on the road.

"There is heavy traffic congestion after Al Mawaleh Bridge, Sultan Qaboos Street, Hail, towards Seeb. Drivers must exercise caution," the Directorate General of Traffic said in a statement. 

2. Vehicle fire doused in Muscat Governorate

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has extinguished a fire that broke out in a vehicle in the Wilayat Seeb. No injuries were recorded.

A statement issued online by CDAA said :"The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Muscat dealt with a report of a fire that broke out in a vehicle in the Wilayat of Seeb, without registering any injuries."

 The authority calls for the need of examining vehicles and acquiring a valid manual fire extinguisher. 

3. Parking to be restricted on these roads in Oman

Parking of vehicles will be restricted on both sides of the lane on Sultan Qaboos Street from Al Baraka Palace to the Royal Private Airport in Muscat Governorate, and from the Royal Private Airport in the Wilayat of Salalah to Al Hosn Palace in the Dhofar Governorate on Tuesday November 15, 2022.

The Royal Oman Police announced that it will prevent vehicles from parking on both sides of the lane on Sultan Qaboos Street from Al Baraka Palace to the Royal Private Airport in the Governorate of Muscat, and from the Royal Private Airport in the Wilayat of Salalah to Al Hosn Palace in the Dhofar Governorate, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

The Royal Oman Police calls on motorists to abide by the above and to cooperate with the police in the service of public interest.
