Consumer Protection Authority seizes E-cigarettes in Oman
The authority clarified that this behavior is in violation of Resolution No. 698/2015

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has seized a number of shops selling electronic cigarettes. E-cigarettes are banned for sale in the Sultanate.

According to a statement by the Authority: "During inspection field visits carried out by the CPA control team to shops and markets in the Wilayat of Shinas, a number of electronic cigarettes were seized in shops selling tobacco and its derivatives."

The Authority clarified that this behavior is in violation of Resolution No. 698/2015 regarding the ban on the circulation of electronic cigarettes and hookahs.
