Oman strongly condemns Baghdad massacre

Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the suicide bombing that occurred at dawn in Al Karara, in the center of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
The attack claimed the lives of 130 people and left more than 200 victims wounded. The blast took place in a heavily crowded commercial area during the month of Ramadan.
The ministry condemns all violent and criminal acts of every kind which claims the lives of innocents.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers its sincere condolences to the victims’ families, the Republic of Iraq and its people as well as wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
