Three arrested for illegal hunting of Arabian gazelles

Muscat: The Environment Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested three persons for hunting four Arabian gazelles in Qudha area.

The Environment Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate said that legal procedures are being completed against them and confiscated items used.

The Environment Authority (EA) allocated a telephone number to report any incident of pollution or assaulting wildlife, stranding and death of turtles and marine mammals in the Sultanate.
