The Khutba covered the reward of Allah for those who fasted during Ramadan. Sheikh Dr. Is’haq also called for glorifying Allah and extract lessons from fasting and praying during Ramadan.
Blessings
He added security at home is one of the greatest blessings of Allah onto man. The messengers of Allah and faithful believers appealed to Allah to grant them security.
The Messenger Ibrahim appealed to Allah to grant him security. He even sought to get security even before food; an evidence of its importance and the great risk from its loss. He also said that no one can live without the feeling of security. “A country that has no security is like a barren desert even it is full of gardens and plants,” he added.
The Chainman of the Supreme Court also said that the security we enjoy in Oman is a blessing from Allah in reward of our worship, commitment to Sharia and being away from disobeying our Lord. Allah said in Surat Quraish “So, let them worship Allah, the Lord of this House who feed them against hunger and has made them safe from fear”.
Advice givers and caretakers should play their prospective role in containing events, alleviating nerves and opening channels for quiet dialogue with youth to ensure proper control of their nerves and utilisation of their potentials to serve the nation.
“The feeling of security we have by obeying the teachings of our religion, doing good to our family members, respect elders, show mercy on the weak people and give the due rights of our leaders and remain away from subjectivity and personal desires”.
