
Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman has rescued 15 people who were on board a boat after it suffered a technical malfunction at sea in Musandam Governorate.
The Royal Navy of Oman in the Musandam Governorate managed to rescue a boat belonging to the Ministry of Health with eight citizens and seven residents on board, after receiving a report stating that the boat had a technical malfunction that could lead to its sinking at sea in the Wilayat of Khasab.
The boat, called Khasab, was found by the Royal Navy of Oman at a distance of one nautical mile from the south of Umm Al-Ghanam Island in the Musandam Governorate. It was towed by a Royal Navy of Oman boat to the Musandam Naval Base.
