Heavy rainfall in the Wilayat of Al-Amerat in the Governorate of Muscat led to a mountain collapse on Al-Amerat-Qurayyat road on Al-Atakiya Street, causing traffic accidents and a large traffic jam.
An official in the Royal Oman Police (ROP) confirmed exclusively to Times of Oman that a mountain collapsed on the Al-Amerat-Qurayyat road in Muscat Governorate due to heavy rains. This affected two vehicles.
