In pictures: It is Rose harvest season in Oman

Muscat: The season of picking roses in Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate is here! Blooms are distilled to produce rose water, a precious liquid which can be used in multiple ways such as an ingredient in recipes like in the Omani Halwa. Rose water also has medicinal uses.
