New e-Services launched through 'Invest Easy" portal in Oman

Muscat: Khamis Abdullah Al-Farsi, Director General of Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Head of Development Team for the Single Window Servicers 'Invest Easy' said that the Ministry is going ahead with its plans to convert all services provided to investors and entrepreneurs to e-services through the " Invest Easy Portal'.
He added that more e-services are expected to be launched on 25th July as part of the celebrations to mark the Blessed Renaissance Day, July 23rd. These services include the registration and amendment of commercial agencies.
He pointed out that the service will allow investors to register, amend and renew the agency agreements without need to visit the Ministry's HQ. It was decided to stop receiving all applications related to registering or amending the commercial agency data during the period 17th-21st July, 2016 to transfer all the applications and old agencies in the new system to invest easy portal database.
Investors will be able to renew the commercial agency that have been registered earlier during this period to avoid any penalties for financial loss by agents.
