Muscat: The Higher Judiciary Institute Council held its 2nd meeting under the chairmanship of Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Higher Judiciary Institute Council.
The meeting reviewed the new postgraduate study regulation, which includes the terms for admission, the method for registration and the obligations of students.
The council also discussed adding four study programmes for master degree in jurisprudence, general law, private law and commercial law. The council had earlier highlighted the details and the accredited hours for each programme.
The meeting included information, the most important of which was the new system for the Institute, the proposal to accept students from non-judiciary organisations who meet the requirements.
