Muscat: A telegram of thanks was sent to His Majesty the Sultan from the participants in the Sixth Oman International Conference on Food Safety and Quality, Oman News Agency, (ONA), said.
A statement issued online by ONA said: ”Participants in the Sixth Oman International Conference on Food Safety and Quality, which was held in Muscat from 12 to 14 June 2023, raised a telegram of thanks and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik - may God protect and preserve him.”
The participants in the conference expressed their highest thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm reception and hospitality they felt, which had a great impact on the success of the conference.
Furthermore, the participants praised the development witnessed by the Sultanate of Oman in various fields, including food security as one of the pillars of its future vision, and its strategic goal to ensure the safety and quality of food in accordance with regulations and legislation, and to follow up on its implementation as a national duty and a basic pillar to enhance public health protection.
The participants concluded their cable by praying to God Almighty to protect His Majesty the Sultan and grant him good health and long life, wishing the Omani people continued progress and prosperity.
