Cyclone Biparjoy: Are there any effects on Oman?

Muscat: Avoid going to the sea and practicing marine activities due to the high sea waves on the coasts of the Arabian Sea.

Cyclone Biparjoy's indirect effects on the Sultanate of Oman explained:

Specialists at the National Centre for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards advised sea goers and practitioners of marine activities to avoid going to the sea due to the high sea waves which may reach 3-6 meters on the coasts of the Arabian Sea.

A meteorological source indicated that sea water may enter due to the high sea waves over low-lying areas near the coasts, due to winds and high waves.
