49 infiltrators of Asian nationality deported by Royal Oman Police

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has deported 49 infiltrators, all of Asian nationality through the Muscat International Airport, in accordance with the provisions of the judicial authorities, who ruled to expel them from the Sultanate for entering the country illegally.
ROP has been deporting infiltrators promptly in accordance with the established legal procedures in the Sultanate and international conventions and standards for organisations in the country.
These organisations also coordinate through official channels with the country to which the infiltrators belong, to verify their identities and terminate the proceedings related to deporting them to their country’s embassy.
Infiltrators are dealt with in such a manner because it ensures their safety, dignity and human rights; they are also detained in well equipped shelters that are equipped and are provided all the basic necessities, along with therapeutic services, until they leave the country.
