Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has issued an awareness booklet that includes a set of important tips in both Arabic and English for visitors to the Khareef Dhofar festival, which aims to deliver information aimed at everyone's safety.
The booklet includes tips on preparing for the trip to Dhofar and other places, including conducting periodic inspection and maintenance of the vehicle and ensuring the safety of its parts.
It also outlines a mechanism for equipping the vehicle with the necessary tools, in addition to an ambulance bag and a fire extinguisher, and the importance of having them in the vehicle.
The booklet deals with a set of tips before leaving for the trip, including ensuring the safety of the vehicle, and adhering to safety rules, including the specified vehicle load.
It also includes tips on making sure that power is turned off for non-essential devices, as well as information on what to do if a traffic accident occurs ahead of you.
