Muscat: 19 motorcycles have been seized by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) after conducting a campaign aimed at preventing illegal motorcycles from roaming the streets.
A senior ROP official said that the motorcycles are not licensed and violate the traffic regulations.
“These types of motorcycles are a danger to road users since they are driven by kids and they do not possess a motorcycle license,” said the official.
Proper procedures have taken place and the motorcycles have been confiscated.
