Oman firefighters put out Dhank farm blaze

Dank: A fire broke out and spread on a farm in Taf in Wilayat Dank on Monday.

The operations center at PACDA received a call at 10:40pm on Monday night about a fire at a farm in Taf.

PACDA officers and ambulance rushed to the scene to find that the fire was spreading fast setting palm trees and various plants ablaze.

Firefighters fought the flames for approximately six hours and stopped the fire spreading to neighbouring farms. Nobody was injured but there was damage to property.

PACDA warned the farm owner to follow safety procedures to prevent loss of life and property.
