Muscat: Dar Al Atta’a Association held its annual celebration in the Wilayat of Bausher for the year 2023, under the patronage of Maryam Bint Issa Al Zadjali, Member of the State Council and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Association.
The ceremony began with a speech by Maryam Al Zadjali, in which she said: "The Dar Al Atta’a Association, in coordination and permanent cooperation with the Omani Authority for Charitable Works through assistance programmes for needy families within the Sultanate of Oman and some needy families in some affected Arab countries, provided more than OMR 3 million in 2022 through the donation campaigns it carried out within the Sultanate of Oman received support from private institutions and businessmen in the Sultanate.
She added that the most prominent programmes launched by the association are caring for needy families, Islamic values, empowerment, alleviating hardship, caring for students with limited income, and building and renovating homes. The association’s efforts in this field have been crowned with great success, because this association performs its role and societal mission in all governorates of the Sultanate in terms of its social responsibility.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the sponsor of the event honoured the governmental and private institutions that support the association’s programmes and activities, in addition to honouring a number of personalities and individuals who cooperated with the association during the past year.
