Under the Patronage of HH. Sayyed Fahar Bin Fatek Al-Said, the closing ceremony of Dar Al Attah competition “BIG GIVE” took place in Shangri-La on the second of October 2023. This event is yearly organized to target the best creative charitable ideas of students all over colleges in Oman. It also introduces the best practices of charitable work conducted by Dar Al Attah over the years.
MCBS team, Rial Al Khair, got the first prize for the highest revenue. The team consists of Khalid Al Breiki, Jawaher Al Shihhi, Laith Al Adawi, Fatma Al Fakhri and Saba Al Zidi. The Rial Al Khair charity team, from Modern College of Business and Science, was supervised by Miss. Hazar Ayadi, lecturer in the General Education Department in MCBS. Their hard work and dedication made the honoring ceremony bloom with pride and glory!...
The teamwork persisted and worked hard for a whole academic year, and it paid off by winning the best of the prizes and being honored in front of many colleges and universities, from around the Sultanate of Oman. The team’s creative idea was stunning and motivational to everyone who visited their modal in most of the malls of Muscat. The modal was a prison with a puppet prisoner inside. Everyone who passed by the modal was amazed by the idea of a prison inside the mall with a person jailed inside. All the visitors used to stop, ask, inquire, and finally donate for a special noble cause, which is majorly relieving Post Covid prisoners from their financial burdens and releasing them from prison. The Rial Al Khair team worked on six sensitive cases of prisoners covering all their debts and finally succeeded in stopping their panic, anxiety, and fears.
