Oman crime: Four held for drug trafficking

Muscat: Four Omanis were arrested on charges of possessing and trafficking drugs by the Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances at North Al Batinah Police Command.
One of the accused was held in the Wilayat of Shinas with 1kg of hashish in his possession while two others were arrested in the Wilayat of Al Khaboura while attempting to escape.
The fourth accused was arrested in the Wilayat of Saham and two packets of hashish were found in his possession. All the four have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
