Oman crime: Banned tobacco seized in Al Suwaiq

Muscat: A truck loaded with tobacco was seized by the Directorate of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation at North Al Batinah Police Command in cooperation with the police patrols from Al Suwaiq Police Station. While searching the vehicle, the police found 35,200 packets of banned tobacco. The truck driver was arrested and later referred to the Public Prosecution.
