Royal Office Minister receives ambassadors of Cyprus, Russia

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office received here today Andreas Nikolaides, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting comes within the framework of the Sultanate of Oman's attention accorded to current issues on the regional and international arenas.

The ambassador expressed his thanks for the Sultanate of Oman in enhancing means of cooperation in a bid to achieve joint interests.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed several matters of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, also received here today Ilya Morgunov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Sultanate of Oman.

During this meeting, Al Nu’amani reviewed the march of relations binding the two countries.

The two sides discussed issues in the region and ways of resolving them with dialogue and peace. They also reviewed several matters of mutual interest and means of promoting them.
