Workshop discusses ways to deal with suspected tax evasion

A workshop organised by the Tax Authority in cooperation with the National Centre for Statistics and Information dealt with the way of handling complaints on suspected tax evasion, definition of the bank transactions and samples of suspected transactions. The workshop also dealt with the prerogatives of the National Centre for Statistics and Information and the mechanisms of analysis of operations. It is worth mentioning that the Tax Authority, represented by the Department of Combating Tax Evasion, is making tremendous efforts to curb tax evasion.
