Environment Authority team tracks and tags humpback whale

With help from the satellites, a team from the Environment Authority (EA) monitored the Arabian Sea humpback whale eleven times, Bryde’s whale four times and Indian ocean humpback dolphin once.

The team also installed a tracking chip on one of the Arabian Sea humpback whales which was seen for the first time in November last year in the Masirah Bay area
