Labour Ministry's inspection team raids homes in Al Dakhiliyah, several expats arrested

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour's Joint Inspection Team raided and arrested a numbers of expatriate workers for violating the Labour Law.

The ministry said: “The Ministry of Labour represented by the Office of the Joint Inspection Team at the General Directorate of Labor in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, carried out an inspection campaign on labour gatherings and raided some homes in the Wilayat of Bahla.”

“A number of expatriate workforces were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labour Law, and legal measures are being taken against them,” the ministry added.
